03In depth

Sound Design and Patch Character

The patches were built in Reason's Combinator using devices such as Subtractor, Malstrom, Thor, Redrum, Scream and the PH90 Phaser. Loopmasters describes the pack as a selection of energetic, high-octane Electro House sounds, with leads and stabs meant to carry intense, uplifting energy.

The sound designer, Utku S., is credited with the patch design. Loopmasters says the patches are designed to suit Tech and Electro House productions, and they also suit Dubstep and Glitch styles.

Who the Pack Is For

This pack suits producers working in Reason who want ready-made House and Electro synth textures as a starting point. The 64 MIDI files make it easy to test each patch against a groove or to build a melodic idea around a sound.

It is best suited to producers who already use Reason, since the patches are Combinator presets and require Reason 4 or later.
