Pad sounds and character
W. A. Production says the presets were designed using the ImPerfect synth and take advantage of its full range of features. The collection covers two broad directions. Some patches are clean and arpeggiated, with a more defined rhythmic movement. Others are warm and brooding, built around chords with a darker, more atmospheric tone.
Pads usually fill the middle and top of a mix, so the pack is most useful when you need a sustained bed under leads, drums or vocals. Each preset can serve as a finished sound or as a base to shape further with the synth's own controls.
