Chord Character and Intended Genres

W. A. Production describes the chords as innovatively structured and jazz-influenced, intended to relax the mood of a track. The pack is positioned for lo-fi hip hop and chillstep, and also for lounge and relaxation or study music.

Because the presets are chord sets rather than sounds, the tonal character of your track will depend on the instruments you play them with. The pack is best suited to producers who want new harmonic ideas for an existing lo-fi sound.

Using the Presets with Instachord

LoFi Hip Hop for Instachord is designed for the Instachord MIDI processing plugin, so it works as chord material inside that plugin rather than as a standalone instrument. You will need a copy of Instachord to run the pack.

W. A. Production says Instachord suits beginners learning theory as well as professionals who want an on-demand chord library. The expansion is aimed at producers who want to avoid repetition in their chord progressions.
