01Overview

All In One: ImPerfect Presets gathers the ImPerfect expansions that W. A. Production has released into a single collection. The presets are built to use ImPerfect's distinctive analog drift engine, which the developer describes as adding tuning inconsistencies, harmonic warmth and organic movement to its sounds. The bundle covers several styles, including trance, cinematic and lofi hip hop, so it can serve as a broad starting library for ImPerfect users. Because it is a preset collection, it needs the ImPerfect plugin to load and play.

Sound Styles and Expansions Included

The bundle combines the separate ImPerfect expansions from W. A. Production. Among the styles it covers are future garage, synthwave and uplifting trance, each with its own set of presets. Future garage presets focus on hazy chords, vocal-chop textures and deep, syncopated basses. Synthwave presets lean toward rich pads, retro leads and driving basslines. Uplifting trance presets are designed around plucks, emotional pads and driving leads.

Because the bundle gathers several expansions, it works well for producers who want to explore different genres within one instrument rather than buying each pack separately.

Working With ImPerfect's Drift Engine

According to the developer, the presets take advantage of ImPerfect's analog drift engine and its Wacky, Cracky and Shaky controls, which add gentle instability and motion. The developer says these controls are used to give sounds a worn, expressive character.

The presets are meant as starting points. Producers can load a sound, then adjust the drift and modulation settings to suit their track.
