The VA-3 is a two-oscillator, bi-filter synthesizer with built-in effects, designed to balance familiar analog workflows with more flexible editing. The bundle ships with more than 1000 presets and adds sound banks spanning EDM, drum sounds, techno, ambient textures, cinematic pads and effects for film, animation and game work. Sound Design and Editing Features

The VA-3 is a two-voice synthesizer. Two independent timbres can be stacked or split, which makes it useful for layered pads and split keyboard performances.

Each layer has four performance macros that respond to user-defined MIDI controls. Modulation, timbre, envelope and effect morphing can all be assigned to these macros and played in real time.

The multi-mode filter section includes a new ladder-type filter for a classic low-pass response. A new browser lets you sort sounds by Packs, Sounds, Categories and Creators.

What Is in the Sound Banks

The bundle includes several sound banks. Tabby Dance covers EDM sub-genres including Big Room, Techno, Future House, Electro, Trance, Dub and Trap. Kicks and Snares offers bass drum and snare presets, and Technocracy focuses on techno styles with 100 presets.

Starlight contains 149 presets across ambient, arpeggiator, chime, lead and synthesizer categories. Cinémathèque includes 142 pad and texture presets for film scoring, and Ultra FX is aimed at sound designers working on films, animation and video games.

The VA-3 factory library itself contains 560 new sounds plus refined versions of the 800+ VA-2 presets.
