Two ways to play the chordal violin
The first mode is designed for quick results. You choose a chord type and a key, then play on the white keys. Whatever note you play selects a harmony that fits the chosen key. Ben Osterhouse describes this as similar to the Harmonize factory scripts in Kontakt, except that every harmony in this instrument was recorded manually.
The second mode asks more of the player. Playing a chord that has been recorded causes the instrument to play that chord on violin. The included MIDI clips show which chords work, so they make a practical starting point for learning the instrument's voicings.
