Headphone Correction and Virtual Studio Monitoring
Realphones 2 Professional corrects the frequency response of your headphones. dSONIQ says its measurement process, developed since 2015, aims to show a headphone's response as close as possible to what a listener hears in reality. The correction is intended to give a more linear sound with less unwanted coloration.
The plugin also emulates a studio control room with near-, mid- and far-field monitoring. Binaural virtual positioning based on HRTF places sound sources in a more speaker-like stereo image, and room ambience can be added to the dry headphone sound.
