01Overview

VPS Avenger 2 Expansion Pack: Nova is a collection of 64 presets built for Vengeance Sound's VPS Avenger 2 synth. The pack is developed by Plugin Boutique Presets and is aimed at producers who want ready-made starting points inside Avenger rather than building patches from scratch. The presets are grouped by category, so you can find a bass, lead, pad, drum or effect sound quickly. Each one is designed around the synth's own tone-shaping and modulation options, so the sounds can be edited further once loaded.

Sound Categories in the Nova Preset Pack

The pack contains 64 presets split across five categories: 25 bass sounds, 17 leads, 10 FX, 7 pads and 5 drum patches. The bass group is the largest, which makes the pack most useful for producers who need low-end and mid-range synth parts.

The lead and pad presets cover melodic and atmospheric roles, while the FX presets can be used for transitions, risers and textural accents. The developer describes the sounds as warped and weighty, a description that fits the heavier bass and lead patches in the set.

Using Nova with VPS Avenger 2

Nova is built for the Vengeance Sound VPS Avenger 2 and is not a standalone instrument. You load the presets inside Avenger and use the synth's oscillators, filters and modulation to shape them further. Because every preset is a starting point, you can change the timbre, envelopes or effects to suit your track.

The pack suits electronic producers working with heavy synth textures who want a quick route to usable sounds during writing and sound design.
