Ultimate Bass – SubBoomBass Presets is a preset pack from Loopmasters for Rob Papen's SubBoomBass synth. It contains 64 bass presets, 64 MIDI files, 64 WAV loops and one SubBoomBass bank.
Ultimate Bass is built for producers who want to fill the low end of their tracks with ready-made bass sounds. The pack is made for SubBoomBass and includes 64 presets, one SubBoomBass bank, 64 MIDI files and 64 rendered WAV loops. Each MIDI file is paired with a patch, so you can hear the sound playing a musical part straight away. The developer positions the pack for House production, with Techno, Breakbeat and EDM listed as further uses.
The pack totals 104 MB of content and is recorded at 24-bit / 44.1 kHz. The core of the pack is 64 SubBoomBass presets, which are organized into a single SubBoomBass bank for easy loading.
Each preset is paired with a MIDI file, and the pack also includes 64 WAV loops. The WAV loops are rendered versions of the patches playing their linked MIDI parts, which gives you audio you can drop directly into a session without rebuilding the sound.
The pack is aimed at owners of Rob Papen's SubBoomBass who want fresh material for House music. Loopmasters lists Techno, Breakbeat and EDM as other suitable genres.
The content works as a starting point. You can load a patch as-is for a quick bass part, or use the MIDI files and loops as a reference for your own low-end arrangement.
