Serum Expansion Pack: Evolving Tech – Tech House Presets for Serum

The pack is organized by sound type, so you can move quickly between categories. Basses make up the largest group after synths, with 16 presets for low-end lines. Synths and leads together account for 23 presets, covering the melodic and chordal side of a track.

The drum and sequence presets give you rhythmic material to build on. Five drum presets and three sequences can serve as a starting groove, while the seven FX presets add transitions and textures between sections.

Because every preset is a Serum patch, you can open any sound and edit its oscillators, filter and effects like any other Serum preset.

Evolving Tech is designed for producers who already work in Serum. Load a preset, audition it in the context of your arrangement, then change the parts that do not fit. Plucks and leads are useful when you need a quick melodic idea, and the bass group gives you several low-frequency options to test against your kick.

The developer says the presets were crafted with tech house producers in mind, so the emphasis falls on club-oriented material rather than general-purpose sounds.
