Serum DnB Antidote is a preset pack for Xfer Serum containing 95 patches for bass, drones, pads, sequences and FX, plus 95 matching WAV loops.
Serum DnB Antidote is a preset collection from Singomakers Sounds built for Xfer Serum. The pack covers five categories: 60 bass presets, 10 drones, 10 pads, 10 sequences and 5 FX patches. Each preset comes with a corresponding WAV loop, so you can hear the patch in context before loading it into a project. The developer positions the pack for Drum & Bass, Jungle, Neurofunk, Bass House, Tech House and Trap production.
Bass makes up most of this pack, with 60 of the 95 presets dedicated to bass sounds. The developer says the basses are aimed at Drum & Bass, Jungle and Neurofunk, and also suit Bass House, Tech House and Trap.
Each patch includes four assigned macro controls. These let you adjust and modulate key parameters from one place without opening Serum's full synthesis layout, which makes quick tweaking during arrangement more practical.
Beyond the bass set, the pack includes 10 drones, 10 pads, 10 sequences and 5 FX presets. These cover the textures and rhythmic layers that usually surround a bass line in a track.
The WAV loops are provided at 172 BPM, and the pack includes 4 bonus loops taken from the demo track. The pack is 482 MB and the audio samples are 24-bit.
