Technological D&B Serum Patches is a preset pack for Xfer Records Serum by Singomakers Sounds, with 80 patches aimed at Drum & Bass sub-genres such as Rolling, Neurofunk and Techstep.
Technological D&B Serum Patches is a 554 MB collection of Serum presets from Singomakers Sounds. The pack focuses on Drum & Bass and its more technical sub-genres, including Rolling, Neurofunk and Techstep. The developer describes the sounds as inspired by tracks from artists such as Noisia, Alix Perez and Phace. The set covers bass, synth, pad and sound effect patches, each paired with matching loops and MIDI files.
The pack contains 80 modulated Serum patches. Most of them, 56, are bass patches, which reflects the genre's focus on heavy, moving low end. The collection also includes 17 synth patches, 4 sound effects and 3 pads.
Each patch has four assigned macro controls, so you can shape the main parameters of a sound without digging through the full Serum interface. This makes the presets practical as starting points for your own edits.
Every one of the 80 patches comes with a corresponding WAV loop and a MIDI file, so you can hear the sound in context and reuse the musical idea in your arrangement. The pack also includes 48 bonus loops taken from the developer's demo track.
The contents are organized so you can audition a patch, check its loop, and drop the MIDI into your project in one pass.
