MPC Expansion: Nordic Nature is a preset expansion pack by Beat containing 71 keygroup programs made with the Nord Wave 2 synth, for use in Akai MPC software and hardware.
Nordic Nature is an expansion pack from Beat that draws its material from Clavia's Nord Wave 2. The pack includes 71 keygroup programs covering basses, spherical pads and hybrids that blend real and synthetic instrument sounds. It ships with 426 samples totaling 1 GB of content, and audio previews let you audition programs before loading them into your project.
Beat designed the 71 programs in this pack specifically with the Nord Wave 2, a synth known for its performance-oriented design. The collection leans on three sound families: basses, pads and hybrid instruments that combine recorded and synthesized elements.
Because the programs are built as keygroups, they can be played across the MPC pads and keyboard, making them suited to melodic and harmonic playing directly inside your sequencer.
Nordic Nature is an MPC expansion, so an MPC is required to use it. It is compatible with the Akai standalone models MPC One, MPC X, MPC Live, MPC Live mkII and MPC Force, as well as the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance, MPC Beats and MPC Software.
The pack is also noted as compatible with the Akai MPC Beats DAW. Installation and loading follow the standard expansion workflow in your MPC environment.
