The presets cover bass, drums, leads, pads, arpeggios and effects. Each preset is paired with a MIDI file and a rendered WAV loop, so you can start from a sound you can hear immediately and then edit it in Massive. Sound Design and Preset Contents

The pack contains 20 bass presets, 10 lead presets, 10 pad presets, 10 drum presets, 6 arpeggio presets and 8 FX presets, for 64 Massive presets in total. The developer describes the sounds as edgy and technically detailed, reflecting the drum and bass production approach of Icicle, who has released music on labels including Shogun Audio, Hospital Records and Critical.

Because the bass, lead and pad categories are sized evenly, the pack works as a full set of building blocks for a drum and bass track rather than a single-category collection.

Presets, MIDI and WAV Files Together

Every preset comes with a matching MIDI file and a WAV loop. The MIDI files let you audition a patch with its musical part right away, and you can change the notes or move the part to another preset. The WAV loops give you the rendered audio of each combination, which is useful for auditioning sounds or dropping a loop straight into an arrangement.

The pack totals 94 MB of content, including 64 presets, 64 MIDI files and 64 WAV loops.
