01Overview

HALO-2 Expansion: JUNGLIST is built around the sounds of old skool jungle and intelligent drum and bass. The developer says the sounds were created with hardware and software synthesizers and processed through HALO's own processing and sequencers. The pack includes subs, stabs, distorted basses, sub fallers and lush pads, and the developer notes that the famous dub siren makes several appearances. It requires the full version of HALO-2.

03In depth

Jungle Sounds and Character in HALO-2

The pack focuses on classic jungle textures. Its 45 sample banks and 100+ presets cover subs, stabs, wobbles and distorted basses, giving producers the core elements of a jungle track in one place.

Developer DHPlugins says the sounds blend classic old skool jungle with modern production techniques, aiming to bring a fresh palette to the jungle revival. The pads and sequences are described as intelligent drum and bass, so they suit more melodic, atmospheric arrangements alongside the harder basses.

What Is Included in the Pack

The expansion pairs 100+ presets with 45 sample banks. Key sound types include jungle subs, stabs, wobbles, distorted basses and sub fallers, plus lush intelligent drum and bass pads and sequences.

Because the pack is an expansion for HALO-2, the presets and samples are loaded inside the instrument, so you can shape them with HALO's processing and sequencers.
