What's Inside the EDM Mainroom Synth Preset Pack

The pack contains 64 Massive presets split across five categories: 20 bass presets, 10 chord presets, 15 lead presets, 15 synth presets and 4 SFX presets. Loopmasters describes the set as a collection of hard-hitting sounds for the main room, built around leads, chord synths, bass and effects.

Alongside the presets are 64 MIDI files and 64 WAV loops. Each WAV loop is a rendered version of a patch with its associated MIDI, which lets you audition the sound in context and draw ideas from it quickly. The full contents total about 124 MB.

Because every preset has a matching MIDI file, the pack works well as a starting point for building melodies, bass lines and chord progressions around each sound.

Who This Massive Preset Pack Is For

The pack is aimed at producers working in EDM who use Native Instruments Massive and want a set of genre-specific sounds rather than designing everything from scratch. Loopmasters says the presets were made by a producer working in the genre, and the collection is intended for producers who want to create and perform their own parts.

It is a practical fit for big-room and mainroom tracks, where a strong lead, a punchy bass and a set of chord stabs are often the core of the sound. The WAV loops also make it easy to check how a preset sits in a mix before committing to it.
