Sound Design and Preset Contents

The pack is made up of 28 bass presets, 21 lead presets, 11 pad presets and 4 SFX presets. Loopmasters describes the set as cutting-edge sounds, and the contents point to a focus on the core elements of dubstep production. Expect vocalised leads, hypnotic FX, epic pads, evil growls and sequenced dubstep basses.

The patches are designed to complement drum and bass and dubstep productions, and the developer notes they will also work in other styles. The MIDI files give you a starting point for each sound, so you can edit the musical parts instead of writing them from scratch.

Who It Is For and What You Need

This pack suits producers working in dubstep and drum and bass who want genre-specific Massive sounds to start from. The MIDI files are useful if you prefer to adjust existing parts rather than program them.

You need a fully licensed copy of Native Instruments Massive, version 1.3 or later, to run the full contents. The presets are not compatible with Massive X.
