Drum & Bass – Massive Presets is a 64-preset synth expansion from Loopmasters for Native Instruments Massive. It covers bass, pads, leads, arpeggios, plucks and FX for drum and bass production.
Drum & Bass – Massive Presets is a Loopmasters preset pack built for producers working in drum and bass. The collection is part of the Patchworx series and was produced exclusively for Loopmasters. It is designed for Native Instruments Massive and is not compatible with Massive X. Beyond the presets, the download includes WAV renders of the patches and MIDI files, which give a quick starting point for arrangements and sound design.
The pack contains 64 presets split across several categories: 23 bass presets, 2 arpeggio presets, 9 atmospheric presets, 5 FX presets, 11 lead presets, 9 pad presets and 13 pluck presets.
Each preset comes with a matching WAV loop, so you can audition the sound and drop it straight into a session. The 64 MIDI files give you ready-made note material to pair with the patches.
The pack is aimed at drum and bass producers who want genre-specific starting points rather than building every sound from scratch. PHAS3LINE, the sound designer behind the collection, says the goal was to look ahead to where the scene is heading rather than recreate existing productions, which he hopes will help producers develop their own voice.
Because the presets are organized by role, they suit producers who need a specific element, such as a bass or a lead, for a track.
