Complex Electro Synths 2 Massive Presets is the second volume in Loopmasters' Complex Electro Synths series, built for Native Instruments Massive. The pack targets electro, dubstep and complextro producers who want ready-made sounds with macro controls already set up. Loopmasters describes the patches as hard-hitting, with screeching leads, wobbling basses and twisted sound effects. Each sound can be loaded and then shaped further inside Massive.

Sound Design and Preset Contents

The pack contains 64 Massive patches. The largest group is 30 bass presets, which suits the wobble and growl basses common in dubstep and electro. There are also 10 lead presets and 10 pluck presets for melodic and rhythmic parts, 5 chord presets and 5 atmosphere presets for pads and textures, and 4 SFX presets for transitions and accents.

Loopmasters says the patches were created by Sound Matrix for this release and include full macro controls, so the main parameters can be adjusted from a single panel.

Included MIDI Files and WAV Loops

Beyond the synth presets, the pack includes 64 MIDI files and 64 WAV loops. The MIDI files give you starting melodies and patterns to play the presets with, and the loops provide audio material you can drop straight into a project.
