Sound Types Included in the Bundle

The bundle covers a broad range of sound types. It includes 10 pads, 8 basses, 7 leads, 7 stabs and 5 plucks, which give you a strong foundation for melodic and rhythmic parts. Atmospheric elements are covered by 2 drones, 3 textures and 4 motion presets. Rhythmic and movement-based sounds come from 4 sequences and 3 wobble presets. The set also includes 3 keys, 2 bells, 1 organ and 5 FX presets for transitions and accents.

The mix of categories makes the bundle useful for layering. A drone and a texture can sit under a pad, while a stab or pluck can add detail on top.

Using the Presets in Serum

These presets are designed for Xfer Records Serum. The developer notes that they are compatible with Serum v1 and v2. Because the bundle is organized by sound type, you can browse by role in your arrangement, such as pads for harmonic beds, basses for low-end movement and sequences for rhythmic interest.

You will need Serum installed to load the presets. Once loaded, they serve as starting points you can edit to match your project.
