Chris Cowie - Re-Nerve Expansion Pack is a preset and sample collection from Loopmasters containing drum kits, patterns and one-shot samples for the Nerve drum machine and Kontakt sampler.
Chris Cowie - Re-Nerve Expansion Pack is a Loopmasters drum library built around ready-to-use kits. Producer Chris Cowie prepared the collection using Nerve and Kontakt's editing and modulation tools. The pack includes 50 Kontakt kits, 50 MIDI files of patterns, 40 Nerve kits and 40 Nerve presets, with 515 one-shot WAV samples recorded at 24-bit quality. The kits are key mapped the same way, so switching between them while auditioning stays simple.
Loopmasters says the kits are aimed at club-oriented styles, including Electro, House, Tech House, Progressive, Trance and Dubstep. Each sound is tuned, EQ'd and set to a level intended to sit well in a mix with little further processing.
The Nerve presets come with demo patterns, and the Kontakt side includes MIDI files of those patterns so you can drive the sounds from your own arrangement.
The collection splits across two hosts. The Kontakt content totals about 250 MB and the Nerve content about 455 MB. You get 50 Kontakt kits, 50 MIDI pattern files, 40 Nerve kits and 40 Nerve presets, plus 515 one-shot WAV samples for building your own kits.
