Chants & Chips Vol. 1 is a vocal effects pack built for producers who already use MicDrop Classic. Soundlabs.ai positions it as a toolkit for adding distinctive textures to vocal and sound design work. Each of the four included effects takes your voice as the control source, so the sound follows your performance. The pack targets electronic, experimental and EDM production.
Big Neuro is a distorted bass effect that Soundlabs.ai describes as gritty, suited to dark and experimental beats. Cylon produces robotic, vocoder-inspired tones aimed at electronic and EDM tracks.
Kids Sing layers a bright children's choir for uplifting, crowd-like harmonies. Stadium Chant recreates the energy of a live audience with large, powerful dynamics. Together the four presets cover aggressive, mechanical, bright and crowd-scale textures.
Chants & Chips Vol. 1 is an expansion pack, not a standalone plugin. It requires MicDrop Classic, the voice-to-voice and voice-to-instrument plugin from the same developer. Owners of MicDrop Classic can add the pack directly.
MicDrop and all of its expansions are also available together in the MicDrop Suite bundle, which is the option for users who do not yet own the base plugin.
