01Overview

Big Room House Sylenth Presets is a preset bank for Sylenth1, released by Loopmasters as part of its Patchworx series. The collection is aimed at producers making Big Room productions who want ready-made leads, basses and effects to build tracks from. The patches are preloaded in a single Sylenth bank file, so they can be opened and edited directly inside the synth. Each preset can be tweaked to fit the arrangement, and the included MIDI files give a starting point for writing parts.

03In depth

What is inside the Sylenth Big Room preset bank

The pack contains 64 custom Sylenth patches split into 25 bass sounds, 30 lead synths, 4 pads and 5 sound effects. Loopmasters describes the bass sounds as weighty, with big subs, wobbles, grungy noise stabs and modulated rhythm basses. The lead side covers massive saws, harmonic stabs, squelchy leads and euphoric pads.

The patches are supplied as one Sylenth bank file, so loading the set takes a single step. Each sound is a starting point rather than a finished mix element, and most producers will adjust filters, envelopes and effects to suit their own track.

Who the Big Room House presets are for

The pack is built for producers using Sylenth1 who make big room house and related club music. Loopmasters states that the patches were created by Re-Zone for the Patchworx series. The 64 MIDI files give users note material to pair with the sounds, which can help when sketching a drop or a melodic line from a fresh start.
