01Overview

EDM Synths is a preset collection for producers who use Lennar Digital's Sylenth1. Loopmasters describes it as a bank of hard-hitting synth sounds aimed at the main room, covering electro leads, plucks, pumping basses and sweeping pads. The pack is part of Loopmasters' Patchworx series, which offers genre-specific sounds designed for producers who want to write and perform their own parts. The developer says the sounds were inspired by artists and labels from the European dance scene.

Who the EDM Synths preset pack is for

This pack is aimed at producers making electronic dance music who already use Sylenth1. If you need lead, pluck, bass and pad sounds in a club-oriented style, the preset set covers those core roles.

Because the rendered loops and MIDI files come with each preset, the pack can also serve as a starting point for sketching ideas. Make sure you have the latest version of Sylenth1 installed before you use the presets.
