What Is Inside the 808 Box 2 Presets

The pack contains twelve named presets: Blanket, Cube, Deodorant, Dragon, Helmet, Magnet, Ocean, Ring, Shovel, Tooth Pick, Wagon and Warzone. Each one is a separate starting point for an 808-style bass line.

Because every preset includes its own attack profile, the first moments of a note vary across the set. Iceberg Audio positions this as a way to help the bass punch through a mix, which is most useful when a kick and bass compete in the same low frequencies.

Using the Pack with The Sub

808 Box 2 is an expansion for The Sub and will not load on its own. You need the full version of The Sub, version 1.2 or later. The expansion does not work in the free trial version of The Sub, so a trial install is not enough to use these presets.

An internet connection is required for activation. Once the presets are loaded, you can use them as a base for your own bass lines and adjust them inside The Sub like any other preset.
