Two Preamp Characters: FG-73 and FG-76
The FG-73 is modeled on a discrete solid-state British preamp used on many recordings. The developer describes its sound as bold, present and warm, and it works on individual sources as well as full mixes.
The FG-76 is modeled on a vintage German tube preamp. It adds a thick, colorful tone that can make tracks and mixes feel more alive. Its bottom end saturates in a distinctive, musical way, which Slate Digital highlights for bass guitar and kick drum.
Because both modules cover a range from mild coloration to heavy distortion, they can serve as gentle tone shapers or as creative drive effects.
