Tribal, punk and folk sound sources
The library draws on recorded materials from the tribal past: strikes on leather, several types of wood, rustling leaves and crackling fire. Keepforest says the sounds were chosen to create prehistoric atmospheres. The folk side includes recordings of swords, leather coin pouches, tambourines, nyckelharpa and cello.
The developer also adds a touch of grit, crunch and distortion to the round-robin loops to give the percussion more edge. Each loop contains 8 to 32 samples, which helps reduce repetition when a pattern is played for long periods.
