01Overview

Evolution: Devastator is part of Keepforest's Evolution series, a line the developer describes as established among professional composers and sound designers. The library is built from nearly 200 original industrial recordings, including factory machinery and passing trains, which were then processed into hybrid and modern sounds. It covers trailer hits, booms, risers, downers, percussion, tonal effects and playable instruments in one Kontakt-based collection.

Trailer Hits, Percussion and Effects

The library's largest groups are built for cinematic and trailer work. Trailer Hits include classic, metallic, hybrid, acoustic and short hits, alongside round-robin synthetic trailer drums and booms. The Trailer FX category adds whooshes, risers in several lengths, downers, glitches and noise effects.

Percussion covers kicks, snares, cymbals, punchy hits and high percussion, with dirty and classic round-robin cymbal options. Each group is organized by type, so you can build a transition or impact from separate layers.

Playable Synths, Pulses and Tonal FX

Beyond the one-shot hits, Devastator includes playable instruments in three groups: tonal FX, synths and pulses. The synth set includes sub and hard basses, leads, and pads and textures. The trailer pulse set covers low and harsh bass pulses, lead synth pulses, high pluck pulses and high percussion pulses.

The tonal FX group includes soft braams, a signature hit, alarms and screams, which suit dark trailer sound design and soundtrack composition.
