Trigger Options and Reversal Behavior
BACKMASK reverses audio on three kinds of trigger: a fixed time value in milliseconds, a musical value synced to your DAW's tempo, or the input level. You can set the reverse to apply to all audio, to alternate between reversed and normal playback, or to fire at random. The length of each reversed segment is adjustable, which controls how much of the signal is turned around each time the trigger fires.
A Stuck mode is included for holding a reversal state. Zero-latency operation is the default. A Time Align Mode is also available, and it adds a deliberate delay so the plugin can reverse audio that has already passed, at the cost of latency.
