Drum kits modeled on classic and modern hardware
The core of the pack is 42 drum kits drawn from the Roland TR-909, TR-09, TR8, MC-707 and Novation DrumStation. Beat sampled these machines in the studio, and the developer says the set captures the typical TR-909 sound alongside the character of its newer relatives.
Beat also ran the recordings through its outboard processing chain, including a TLA Ivory compressor and an MPC 2500, which the developer says gives the drums more punch and grit. Because the kits are presets inside Zampler, you can load one and adjust it to fit your track.
For programmers, the single drum-shot patches and the TB-03 acid patches give you individual sounds to build your own kits or basslines.
