Sound Character and Core Sound Types
Beat says the Analogon pack focuses on the sounds that define analog synthesis: strong basses, sparkling arpeggios and hearty hook sounds. These are the elements most often needed in electronic arrangements, so the collection is organized around them rather than around pads or effects.
The developer positions the sounds for synthwave, trance and minimal tracks. Each of these genres leans on a different role for the synth, from driving low end in minimal productions to melodic arpeggios in trance and lead hooks in synthwave, which makes the mix of sound types practical across all three.
