01Overview

Electric Prophet is an expansion pack from Beat that adds a 107-patch soundbank to Zampler. The patches are drawn from two Sequential synthesizers, the Pro 3 and the Prophet 08, which are associated with Dave Smith. The collection totals 2.2 GB of material. Because the content is delivered as an expansion for Zampler, it is designed to be loaded and played within that host rather than as a standalone instrument.

What the Electric Prophet Soundbank Contains

The expansion focuses on sequence-driven material. Its core is arpeggios, bass sequences and hooklines drawn from the Sequential Pro 3, the source of the set's most distinctive rhythmic content.

The Prophet 08 contributes pads. Developer Beat says these pads enrich the Pro 3 material, giving the arpeggios and basslines a sustained layer to sit under. Together the two instruments provide both moving parts and background textures within one library.

With 107 patches, the pack gives producers a broad set of starting points across both sequences and pads.

Using the Patches in Zampler

Electric Prophet is built for Zampler, so the workflow starts in that host. You need Zampler 1.0.2 or higher installed before the expansion will load. Zampler is available as a free download from its developer.

The pack takes about 2.2 GB of disk space, so plan storage accordingly before installing. Once loaded, the patches can be played and arranged within Zampler like any other expansion content.
