Sound, Range and Vocal Modes
Archie is built around a rough, textured timbre. Dreamtonics says the voice moves between aggressive, loud delivery and softer, more melodic tones, which gives a single voice a lot of expressive contrast.
The voice ships with six vocal modes: Softness, Mellow, Falsetto, Calm, Clear and Hoarse. These modes change the color of the delivery, so you can shift between a breathy, gentle take and a harder, clearer one without changing the voice itself.
When singing higher notes, Archie blends chest and head voice to keep power and sustain. That mixed-voice approach is useful for choruses and held notes that need to cut through a band.
